Catholic Charities serves the entire community, not just Catholics. Bishop Blaire puts it this way, “We serve people because we are Catholic, not because they are Catholic!”

Catholic Charities provides a variety of social services for the frail elderly, emergency food for families, access to health insurance for children, immigration services for families and abused women, a parish social ministry support program, and legislative advocacy on priority issues.

Catholic Charities believes in the inherent dignity of each person and creates services that support families and enhance the quality of life for all members of the Community regardless of race, age or religion.

Catholic Charities partners with the other social service organizations, businesses, unions, churches and community organizations to identify and address the needs of our citizens. We are active members of Catholic Charities of California and Catholic Charities U.S.A.
