Already Catholic Charities and members of our community are feeling the economic, social and emotional burden of the Coronavirus. We are all working together to address the pandemic and serve the needs of vulnerable individuals in our communities and protect the safety of our Staff.
For the safety of the community, clients, and employees we are taking the following actions:
Following the recommendations of local, state, and federal agencies, we have made the difficult decision to limit client traffic through our Offices in Stockton, Modesto, and Sonora by appointment only effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
St. Anne’s Place will be temporarily closed.
We have postponed outreach events until it is safe for large groups to gather.
We have canceled all travel for training or conferences.
We have increased sanitation and have posted signs reminding everyone to wash their hands, cover their mouth and nose when coughing, and to reschedule appointments as appropriate.
We encourage self-quarantine for anyone who feels ill.
We are enforcing our policies for employees who feel ill to stay home.
Catholic Charities shall continue to follow the recommendations of the Department of Public Health, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization and other health officials. Catholic Charities' contact information:
Stockton (209) 444-5900
Modesto (209) 529-3784

At this time Catholic Charities is committed to our faith in action by continuing to provide our services as best as possible while still protecting our clients, staff and community at large.
